Welcome to International College!
Welcome to International College!
We are a young school, having opened in 2017, but we are truly international with students from over 20 countries. Our Uruguayan and international staff is focused on providing the best education possible for the students.
IC follows a curriculum where recognised and respected international academic programmes, such as the IB Diploma and IGCSE, are offered alongside those of the Uruguayan national curriculum. This gives the students the benefit of an education from their host country and the best international programmes can offer. Students in Y11 and Y12 take the IB Diploma, while those in Y9 and Y10 take IGCSE courses. Students in Early Years, Primary and Secondary study in Spanish and English and work with individual subjects and interdisciplinary units.
International College has a large and spacious campus with outstanding sports facilities, which allows students to participate in activities both at a recreational and competitive level. There are a variety of other extracurricular activities that students can choose from, including music, drama, robotics, Model United Nations (MUN), of which we host our own event, ICMUN, and the Duke of Edinburgh programme, among others.
If you are interested in being part of our great community, please contact our Admissions Officer to learn more about our proposal and facilities.
