We are a young school, having opened in 2017, but we are truly international with students from over 20 countries. Our Uruguayan and international staff is focused on providing the best education possible for the students.

IC follows a curriculum where recognised and respected international academic programmes, such as the IB Diploma and IGCSE, are offered alongside those of the Uruguayan national curriculum. This gives the students the benefit of an education from their host country, as well as the best international programmes can offer. Students in S5 and S6 take the IB Diploma, while those in S3 and S4 take IGCSE courses. Students in Early Years, Primary and Secondary study in Spanish and English and work with individual subjects and interdisciplinary units.

International College has a large and spacious campus with outstanding sports facilities, which allows students to participate in activities both at a recreational and competitive level. There are a variety of other extracurricular activities that students can choose from, including music, drama, robotics, Model United Nations (MUN), of which we host our own event,  ICMUN, and the Duke of Edinburgh programme, among others.
