Global and Junior Games

At International College, we firmly believe in the value of sports as a fundamental tool for personal growth, teamwork, and friendship-building. Therefore, we want to share with our community two outstanding events organised by Nord Anglia Education in the Americas region: the Global Games (2025) and Junior Games (2026).


Global Games

The Global Games is an exciting five-day programme packed with sports competitions, exciting activities, and the chance to make new friends from Nord Anglia’s schools across the region. The program is designed to enable students to thrive in an atmosphere of ambition, sportsmanship, and teamwork while enjoying some of Orlando's most popular attractions.

  • Grades: Years 7-8
  • Dates: December 2-6, 2025
  • Location: Windermere Preparatory School (Orlando, Florida)

Competition Details

The Global Games aren't just about medals. They’re about teamwork, new friendships, and inspiring your child to explore their potential.

The competition includes:

  • Basketball
  • Flag Football
  • Football
  • Swimming (Relays only)
  • Volleyball

The itinerary includes:

  • Opening ceremony at Universal CityWalk, with dinner and a spectacular welcome show.
  • Sports competitions at Windermere Preparatory School, along with unique experiences at iconic destinations such as Disney Springs and Planet Hollywood.
  • Days of sports and adventure with visits to Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, enjoying attractions like Harry Potter, Jurassic World, and Transformers.
  • Awards and closing ceremony, celebrating the effort, friendship, and achievements of all students.


Junior Games

The Junior Games span three days as a multi-sport event that brings together students from all Nord Anglia schools in The Americas. A broad range of sports has been organised to challenge students as both individuals and teammates.

  • Grades: Years 5-6
  • Dates: April 27–May 1, 2026
  • Location: Windermere Preparatory School (Orlando, Florida)

Students are encouraged to compete in as many sports as they wish, and can participate in all sports. There are no tryouts at the school level; everyone is welcome to play and learn.

The Junior Games will focus on the following sports:

  • Basketball
  • Flag Football
  • Volleyball
  • Football

The itinerary includes:

  • Welcome to Orlando with accommodation at the Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites – Waterpark, enjoying its pools, water slides, mini golf, and family activities.
  • Opening ceremony and sports competitions, along with an unforgettable evening at Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament, featuring medieval-style games, live sword fights, and jousting.
  • Days of sports and adventure at SeaWorld Orlando combining animal encounters, thrilling rides, and a private Thrill & Chill event in the Antarctica section.
  • A magical finale at Disney’s Magic Kingdom touring castles, themed lands and iconic attractions such as Space Mountain, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Peter Pan's Flight.


Each event is supervised by referees and takes place in top-tier sports facilities with high-quality equipment. Qualified staff—trained in first aid—will be on-site to respond to any injuries.

We encourage every student to compete in as many sports as they wish. There are no school-level tryouts, and schools may enter multiple teams. Everyone is welcome to play and learn—players of all levels are encouraged to participate.
