International College (IC) welcomes students from Early Years 1 through Year 12, combining the Uruguayan curriculum with international programs such as the Cambridge IGCSE and the IB Diploma Program. Early Years
IC’s Early Years program fosters curiosity, creativity, and language development in a warm, bilingual environment. Through play-based and student-centered learning, children build the confidence and foundational skills they will carry with them throughout their time at IC.
Primary
From Grade 1 to Grade 6, elementary students strengthen their bilingual fluency in English and Spanish while developing critical thinking skills through interdisciplinary projects, including IC’s distinctive chess program, which builds focus, strategy , and problem-solving skills from an early age.
Secondary
Secondary students (Grades 7–12) take the Cambridge IGCSE in Grades 9–10 and the IB Diploma Program in Grades 11–12. Beyond academics, students participate in Model United Nations, the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, and other global experiences that help them develop the skills and mindset needed for college and beyond.
