International College (IC) welcomes students from Early Years 1 through Year 12, combining the Uruguayan curriculum with international programs such as the Cambridge IGCSE and the IB Diploma Program. Early Childhood Education
IC’s Early Childhood Education program fosters curiosity, creativity, and language development in a warm, bilingual environment. Through play-based, student-centered learning, children build confidence and develop fundamental skills that will serve them throughout their time at school.
Primary
From 1. to 6th elementary grades, students strengthen their bilingual fluency in English and Spanish while developing critical thinking skills through interdisciplinary projects, including IC’s distinctive chess program, which fosters concentration, strategy, and problem-solving from an early age.
Secondary
Middle school students (1st through 6th) take the Cambridge IGCSE in 9th and 4th and the IB Diploma Program in 5th and 6th. Beyond academics, students participate in the Model United Nations, the Duke of Edinburgh Award, and other global experiences that develop the skills and mindset necessary for college and the challenges of the future.
