At International College, language teaching aims to provide opportunities through which students develop strong communication skills and comprehend linguistic and cultural concepts in the process of acquiring broad knowledge, whilst interacting fully, as global citizens, with the world they live in.
The Uruguayan national curriculum is taught in Spanish; the international curriculum is carried out in English. Students also have language acquisition of Portuguese in Primary and Mandarin Chinese in Secondary, two key and complementary languages aimed at helping students to broaden their horizons into the global community.
